About
Career guidance rooted in shared faith
Lamp Network is a private mentorship directory built for churches. It connects congregation members with experienced professionals from their own community — people who share their values and are willing to invest in someone else's journey.
Why we built this
The church has always been a place where people take care of one another. But when it comes to careers — job searches, professional growth, hard decisions — that support often goes untapped. People sit in the same pews as doctors, executives, entrepreneurs, and experienced tradespeople, and never think to ask for guidance.
Lamp Network makes that latent community visible. Experienced members can list what they know and how they're willing to help. Members looking for guidance can search by industry, function, or the kind of help they need — and reach out directly. No algorithms. No intermediaries. Just people from your congregation, offering to light the way.
Private by design
Every Lamp Network community is isolated to its church. Profiles are never visible to the public or to members of other churches. Access is controlled by invite links that church admins manage. This isn't a public network — it's a private resource for your congregation.
The name
“For the commandment is a lamp and the teaching a light.” — Proverbs 6:23
A lamp doesn't illuminate everything at once. It lights the next step. That's what a good mentor does — they don't hand you a career, they help you see the path ahead a little more clearly.
