Terms of Service

Agreement to terms
By creating an account on Lamp Network (“the Service”) you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms constitute a binding agreement between you and Adam Ingle, the operator of Lamp Network.
What Lamp Network is
Lamp Network is a private mentorship and professional networking directory for church communities. Access to the directory requires an invitation from a verified church administrator. The Service is designed to connect congregation members with experienced professionals within their own church for career guidance, mentorship, and professional introductions.
Lamp Network is not a job placement agency, a background-check service, or a general social network. We do not screen individual users beyond requiring church admin approval of profiles. Any professional relationships formed through the Service are between users directly.
What constitutes a “church”
For purposes of this Service, a “church” is a genuine religious congregation that:
- Holds regular worship services or gatherings for its members
- Has an identifiable leadership structure responsible for managing congregational activities
- Operates as a religious organization in good faith
Lamp Network does not require 501(c)(3) status or formal denominational affiliation to register. However, by registering a church account, the administrator represents and warrants that their organization meets this definition. We reserve the right to remove any church account that we determine, in our sole discretion, does not represent a genuine religious congregation or that is being used for commercial, fraudulent, or inappropriate purposes.
We do not currently conduct independent verification of church registrations. Registration is based on self-attestation. If you believe a church account is fraudulent or misrepresenting its organization, please contact us at adam@lampnetwork.com.
Church administrator responsibilities
The person who registers a church account (“Church Administrator”) accepts responsibility for:
- Ensuring that invite links are distributed only to members of their congregation
- Reviewing and approving member profiles before they become visible in the directory
- Removing members who violate these terms or whose membership in the congregation ends
- Ensuring their church’s use of the platform complies with applicable law
- Accurately representing their church and not impersonating another organization
Lamp Network is not responsible for the actions of church administrators or their members. Church administrators are independent actors, not agents or employees of Lamp Network.
Account eligibility and conduct
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By creating an account you represent that you meet this requirement.
You agree not to:
- Post false, misleading, or defamatory information on your profile or job posts
- Use the directory to solicit, spam, or harass other members
- Impersonate another person or organization
- Attempt to access other users’ data beyond what is displayed to you
- Share invite links publicly or with people outside your church community
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise extract data from the Service
Your content
You own the content you post on Lamp Network (your profile, résumés, job posts). By posting content, you grant Lamp Network a limited, non-exclusive license to display that content to other members of your church as necessary to operate the Service. You can delete your content at any time by editing your profile or deleting your account.
You represent that you have the right to post any content you submit and that it does not infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of any third party.
Paid subscriptions
The SMB Profile Upgrade is an optional paid feature billed monthly via Stripe. By subscribing you authorize recurring charges to your payment method. You can cancel at any time from your profile settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and your access continues until then. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods.
We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with at least 30 days’ notice to active subscribers. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We do not screen, verify, or endorse any user, profile, or job posting on the Service.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lamp Network and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, at our sole discretion, with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
